The Power of Military Spouse Clubs

  • 1 min read

Join Kelly Foster and Elizabeth Perez Garcia from the Aberdeen Proving Ground Community Spouses Club in this episode of Veterans SITREP. Kelly and Elizabeth share how their club serves as a “quiet engine” in the military community by building support, developing leadership, creating unity, and sponsoring educational, charitable, and recreational activities.

Although this episode was recorded in April, the message is especially fitting now as we recognize Military Spouse Appreciation Month in May. It is a timely reminder that spouse clubs do more than host events; they create connection, service, and belonging for military families and the communities around them.

Whether you are already part of a spouse club or are just learning what these organizations do, this conversation highlights the power of military spouses working together. Give a listen, and stay tuned for another Veterans SITREP podcast feature coming soon!
